Can I import existing booking data into Classta?

Yes! We support importing booking data in two formats:

Bookwhen Attendance Export

If you're migrating from Bookwhen, select 'Bookwhen Attendance Export' when importing. The system will guide you through mapping your Bookwhen events to your Classta classes, then automatically create bookings and set attendance records.

Generic CSV Format

For other data sources, use our generic CSV import format. Your CSV file should include these columns:

• Required: email, class_name, date, time
• Optional: firstname, surname, phone

In your admin dashboard, go to the Bookings tab and click the Import button. Select 'Generic CSV' and upload your file. You'll map the class names from your CSV to your existing Classta classes, and the system will automatically create or update clients (based on email) and create bookings.

The import process handles duplicates intelligently—if a booking already exists for the same customer, class, and date, it will skip creating a duplicate.
