How to Cancel a Booking

Cancel client bookings and optionally issue refunds for online payments

  1. Step 1: Go to your admin dashboard and click the "Bookings" tab
  2. Step 2: Find the booking you want to cancel. You can use the search bar or filters to locate it quickly
  3. Step 3: Click the booking to view its details, or find the "Delete" or "Cancel" button in the booking actions
  4. Step 4: Before canceling, decide if you need to issue a refund:
  5. Step 5:
    • Stripe payments: You can issue refunds directly through Classta
    • PayPal payments: Refunds must be processed through your PayPal account
    • Cash payments: Handle refunds directly with the client
  6. Step 6: Click "Delete Booking" or "Cancel Booking"
  7. Step 7: If the booking was paid online (Stripe), you\'ll see refund options:
  8. Step 8:
    • Full Refund: Refund the entire amount
    • Partial Refund: Enter a specific refund amount
    • No Refund: Cancel without refunding
  9. Step 9: Select your refund preference and confirm the cancellation
  10. Step 10: The booking will be removed from your calendar, freeing up the space for other clients
  11. Step 11: If you enabled email notifications, the client will receive a cancellation email automatically
  12. Step 12: For package bookings: Canceling one session in a package only cancels that specific date. To cancel the entire package, you\'ll need to cancel each session individually
