How to Skip Holidays (Exclude Dates)

Exclude specific dates like Christmas, bank holidays, or vacation periods from your class schedule

  1. Step 1: Go to your admin dashboard and click "Classes"
  2. Step 2: Click on the class you want to edit, or create a new class
  3. Step 3: Scroll down to the "Schedule" or "Advanced Settings" section
  4. Step 4: Find the "Excluded Dates" or "Skip Dates" field
  5. Step 5: Enter dates you want to exclude, one per line, in YYYY-MM-DD format (e.g., 2024-12-25)
  6. Step 6: Examples of dates to exclude:

    • Christmas: 2024-12-25
    • New Year\'s Day: 2025-01-01
    • Bank holidays: 2024-12-26, 2025-04-18
    • Vacation period: 2024-07-15 through 2024-07-22 (list each date)
    • Personal days off: 2024-06-10
  8. Step 8: You can also exclude date ranges by listing each date in the range
  9. Step 9: Click "Save" to apply the exclusions
  10. Step 10: Excluded dates will not appear on your public booking calendar
  11. Step 11: Existing bookings on excluded dates will remain, but no new bookings can be made for those dates
  12. Step 12: Tip: Plan ahead and add holiday exclusions when you create your class, or update them seasonally
  13. Step 13: Alternative: You can also use start and end dates to limit when a class series runs, which is useful for term-based classes
