Sending announcements to your clients
Classta is designed to handle bookings and essential transactional communication, such as confirmations, reminders, and important booking updates.
It is not an email marketing or bulk announcement platform. If you need to send announcements to a large number of clients, we recommend using a dedicated email service instead.
This article explains why — and how to do that easily.
Emails Classta sends automatically
Classta sends transactional emails that are directly related to bookings and memberships, including:
- Booking confirmations
- Reschedule confirmations
- Cancellation notifications
- Class reminders
- Membership updates (for example, when a new membership is created or updated)
These emails are sent automatically and are designed to be reliable, timely, and relevant to each client.
Why Classta doesn’t offer custom announcement emails
Bulk or free-form announcement emails (for example newsletters, promotions, or general updates) have very different requirements from transactional booking emails.
Dedicated email platforms are built to handle:
- Large recipient lists
- Unsubscribe management at scale
- Spam complaint handling
- Email reputation management
- Campaign analytics
Classta prioritises the reliable delivery of important booking-related emails. Allowing bulk announcements from within Classta could negatively affect email deliverability — not just for one instructor, but for everyone using the platform.
For this reason, Classta intentionally does not support custom or bulk announcement emails.
How to send announcements to your clients
If you want to send an announcement to your clients (for example a newsletter, promotion, or general update), the recommended approach is to use a dedicated email service.
Popular options include:
- Mailchimp
- Brevo (Sendinblue)
- MailerLite
- ConvertKit
- Klaviyo
These tools are purpose-built for sending announcements and marketing emails and provide better deliverability, unsubscribe handling, and reporting.
Exporting your clients from Classta
Classta makes it easy to export your client list.
- Go to your Clients section
- Use the Export to CSV option
- Download your client list
- Import the CSV into your chosen email platform
Most email services accept a wide range of CSV formats and will guide you through the import process.
