How to link to a specific class from your website

You can send people straight to one class, instead of to your full Classta calendar. Each class has a direct booking link. Put that link on a button on your website and it opens that class ready to book.

These used to be called private booking links.

  1. In Classta, open Classes.
  2. On the class, click the link icon (Direct booking links).
  3. Click Create Link.
  4. Give it a name you will recognise later, such as "Website – Tuesday yoga". Clients never see this name.
  5. Leave Expires At and Usage Limit empty if the link will sit on your website.
  6. Click Create Link, then copy the URL.

Paste that URL onto the button or class name on your website. Create a separate link for each class.

Someone who clicks it sees that class, the dates they can book, and the normal booking form. They do not see your other classes first. The class can stay on your public Classta calendar as well. The link simply skips the calendar.

On the same screen you can restrict the link:

  • Expires At — the link stops working after a date and time.
  • Usage Limit — the link stops after a set number of bookings.
  • Preselect Class Date — the link opens with one date already selected.

To keep the class off your calendar, edit the class and turn off Show on public page and Show on my client page. The direct booking link still works. That is useful for personal training, a corporate group, or a session you do not want listed publicly.

The same kind of link is available for a service, a bundle, and a membership.

The link stops if you delete it, switch it off, it passes its expiry, or it hits its usage limit. The button on your website will then show an error, so keep website links active and without a limit.
